LEGAL / TERMS

Terms of Service

Effective August 12, 2026

Agreement

These terms govern your use of Longpath, an independent Parks on the Air field companion operated by an individual developer. By using the service or creating an account, you agree to these terms.

The service

The browser app is free. Native apps may include a full fourteen-day trial followed by an optional one-time platform-store unlock. There is no subscription or automatic charge at trial expiry, and a native unlock does not create a premium feature tier. Store listings and in-app store information are authoritative for local prices.

Longpath is a planning and logging companion. Its spots, missions, and progress are local aids, not official POTA submissions. Longpath is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the POTA organization.

Accounts and store ownership

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your password secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

A native trial follows the Longpath account and platform on which it was started. A permanent native unlock follows the corresponding Apple or Google store account. iOS and Android purchases are separate and can be restored only through the store that owns them.

Acceptable use and your content

Do not attempt to access another user’s data, probe or disrupt the service, upload malicious content, or use Longpath for unlawful purposes.

You own the logs and data you import. You grant Longpath only the license needed to host, process, and display that data back to you in order to operate the service.

Termination and availability

You may stop using the service and delete your Longpath account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or threaten the service. Trial expiry blocks native field access but does not delete your operator data or affect the free web app.

Disclaimers and liability

Longpath is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Park data, spots, propagation information, and other third-party data may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Always exercise your own judgment in the field.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for a claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for Longpath in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes, law, and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The current terms are posted here with their effective date. Questions can be sent to privacy@longpathradio.com.
